How to volunteer

There’s a first time for everything! Simply submit create an account
to volunteer, then attend one of our new volunteer orientations.

Adults (Ages 15+)

We have nearly 100 regular volunteers. With opportunities ranging from food distribution to sorting and stocking, there’s something for everyone!

Some of our needs are:

  • Assisting customers – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday afternoons Noon to 3:00 PM and Thursday evenings from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Food rescue drivers – must be at least 25 years old. A driver’s license is required. A Pantry vehicle is available for pick-ups.
  • Restocking shelves, sorting food, and packing boxes for customer fulfillment: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Youth (Ages 8+)

Corporate & Community Groups

West Suburban Community Pantry welcomes groups to volunteer together. Volunteering is a great way for group members to connect with each other in new ways and support their community.
