Planned Giving

Leave a legacy

At West Suburban Community Pantry, we strive to leave the world a better place than we found it. We plant seeds that will one day flourish for the future. We have been very grateful to many supporters who felt the same way, and whose fruits we now share with the next generation.

Consider a donation to designate with a specific place or purpose in mind, and we will apply it toward the areas of greatest need. Planned giving grants you an opportunity to designate and witness the greatest impact your gift will have. We’re here to assist you in planning your financial future to achieve the greatest benefit to you, your family and programs – because thanks to you, you’ve helped ensure longterm sustainability in our community for decades to come.

Endowment

We all have blessings to share. An endowed gift can create a new endowment or add to an existing endowment. The principal of the endowment is invested and a portion of the principal’s earnings are used each year to support our mission. A portion of the income from the invested money will be used to support our mission in your honor. The rest of the income is reinvested in the fund; that’s what allows it to support us indefinitely.

Wills & Trusts

We can defeat hunger together. By including a bequest to West Suburban Community Pantry in your will or living trust, you are ensuring that we can continue our mission for years to come.

Beneficiary Designation

Kindness is its own benefit. A beneficiary designation clearly identifies how specific assets will be distributed after your death.

Not only is it an easy way to give, but it’s also flexible—you aren’t locked into the choices you make today. You can review and adjust beneficiary designations anytime you want.
