Qualified Charitable Distribution
If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to support West Suburban Community Pantry through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA. A QCD allows you to make a direct gift to WSCP while potentially reducing your taxable income. For individuals who are required to take annual IRA distributions, a QCD can also count toward that requirement. You can also designate WSCP as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy or other investment accounts. It’s a flexible and easy way to make a contribution.
