Whether you’re looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity for a group,
or an ongoing opportunity for yourself, we have a wide array of ways to help.
There’s a first time for everything! Simply submit create an account
to volunteer, then attend one of our new volunteer orientations.
Individual Volunteers (H.S Freshman and Older)
Welcome to the Volunteer page for the West Suburban Community Pantry. Thank you for considering sharing your time and talent with the pantry.
Available positions include:
- Greeting & checking in customers
- Sorting food donations
- Stocking pantry shelves
- Packing and distributing online food orders
- Assisting during customer shopping
Shifts are 2-3 hours in length and volunteers should be able to stand for the bulk of their shift and lift 2 gallons of milk easily. We require everyone to wear closed toe shoes.
Volunteer shifts are available on the following dates and times.
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 8am-4pm
- Thursday: 8am-8pm
- Saturday: 8am-3pm
- Sunday: Closed
Register via the button below. Once your registration is complete, log back in and sign up for orientation under the ‘Opportunities’ tab. After attending orientation, you can access the entire volunteer calendar and sign up for shifts that work with your schedule.

Corporate & Community Groups
West Suburban Community Pantry welcomes groups to volunteer together. Volunteering is a great way for group members to connect with each other in new ways and support their community.
