We are excited to announce a new partnership with Clean Up Give Back, a non-profit committed to environmental stewardship and community engagement. In response to neighbor requests, through this partnership, we can now offer plastic bag recycling – open to the public.
Please feel free to drop off plastic bags in our lobby during open market hours or as you arrive for a volunteer shift. More bags = more benches. Each time we earn a bench by collecting 1,000 pounds of plastic, we will auction it off to raise funds to purchase reusable shopping bags for people who visit our market. It’s an environmental win-win!
