WOODRIDGE, IL — West Suburban Community Pantry will hold a food drive during the first week of November to collect items for residents in need. The 2025 Harvest Week Food Drive will take place Nov. 2 through Nov. 9, with drop-off locations available throughout DuPage County.

Here’s a list of items residents can bring to help stock the pantry’s supplies as the winter holidays approach.

  • Canned fruits
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned meat
  • Cereal
  • Pasta
  • Peanut butter
  • Rice

During 2024, West Suburban Community Pantry reported a 15 percent increase in residents who use the pantry’s services.

Below are participating places to drop off donations during the Harvest Week Food Drive.

“Every can, box, and bag you donate helps fill a plate and brings comfort to a neighbor facing food insecurity,” Linda Crouchelli, Director of Development and Marketing at West Suburban Community Pantry said in a statement.

She added, “As we enter the season of giving, this is a simple but powerful way to make a real impact. Whether you’re donating a few extra groceries from your pantry or organizing a collection with coworkers or friends, every contribution counts.
