What to Expect: 3v3 half-court basketball tournament to raise money for the West Suburban Community Pantry.
Who can play and where do I sign up? All ages can signup to play in a team of three. Those who may not have a complete team can contact Will Beatty and arrangements can be made so that all those interested can still play. Teams can sign up on the website here for $30 per team. 100% of proceeds will go towards West Suburban Community Pantry.
Is there a prize? Teams will be competing for a $150 cash prize. In addition, there will be raffle tickets available for purchase to win a $25 gift certificate to Fleet Feet.
Who is the Junior Board? The Junior Board was formed last winter and is made up of over 20 different students from over 5 different local high schools. The group focuses on raising funds and awareness towards the mission of the Pantry, as well as educating students on the problem of food insecurity in not only DuPage and Will counties but across the globe. The group has been working hard every week throughout the summer to bring this tournament to you.
